DigiExpo 2011 - PhotoTraining 4U

Traveled all the way to Helsinki - Finland for the Digiexpo 2011. Working alongside the wonderful Mark Cleghorn from PhotoTraining 4U demonstrating the latest Lastolite equipment releases.

We performed a series of demos on the stand with live photoshoots and a series of stage performances. I was dressed as a ballerina for the majority of the shoots.

Lastolite Video Shoot

I had the honor of working with Mark Cleghorn as part of PhotoTraining 4U on a series of Demo videos for Lastolite.  This shoot took place earlier in the year but the videos have just gone live!

Bridal Photoshoot for Picture Inspire

Spent the morning at the gorgeous Littlecote House Hotel near Hungerford at another 'Bridal Photography Training Day' for Picture Inspire.  My Model groom for the day was the wonderful Jamie Frith.

Front Page of Folio Magazine

I was to model top of the range bridal wear, designed by Carline Costigliano on a photoshoot for Folio Magazine. The article spanned 6 pages and a front cover.

My groom for the day was fellow model Oscar Marsh and the location was the gorgeous Cadbury House, Congresbury.  The photographer was Sam Gibson (BBC) who quoted "It was really enjoyable working with Oscar and Elena, They were both so professional, i didn't really need to do very much!"

The hair was by Tomasz Sadowski from Seanhanna. Makeup was by Sophie Bee from MAC.

There were 3 dresses I had to model, all by the British designer Caroline Costigliano. The first was "Wistful", a beautifully elegant bias cut dress with a chantilly lace and soft tulle overlay, finished with a dramatically low back and diamante detail. The jewelry was Stefan Heffner diamond set swirl pendant (£1736)

The Second dress was "lychee". This is another bias cut gown but this time in crepe back satin, with a diamante brooch detail on the bust, a low back and side back godgets. (We never worked out what the 'godgets' were but they sounded kool!!)

 

The third dress was "Wild Orchid which had a parisian beaded lace bodice with silk duchess satin cummerband at the waist and full circle silk satin-faced organza skirt. I renamed this dress the Princess dress!!! Jewelry was a 5.10 carat illusion pearl necklace (£4185)

Starting price for any of the Costigliano brand is £2000

Traffic stopping fashion on a unicycle!

A 4 am start for hair and make up then off to Oxford Street we went! It was a PR stunt for High Street Fashion week 2011 in London. Click here to see the video!!

6 circus performance artists were dressed in high street fashion and performed in the middle of the cross roads on the infamous Oxford Street, London.

I was performing unicycle whilst dressed in Striped Leggings (American Apparel, £36), Green Jumper (Benetton) and red shoes (Top Shop, £55)

Mock Wedding Shoot for Picture Inspire

Worked with Wayne Capald as part of Picture Inspire for the first shoot this week. It was a mock wedding as part of the 4 day Power Course.  There were 3 photographers this time, learning how to successfully shoot a wedding.

Mike Johnson also joined me as my "groom" for the day.

Over all a fun and fulfilling few hours. Looking forward to my next shoot with them.
